Baby is now 30 weeks...that is to say, 216 days.... or alternatively......7 months and 4 days.

OK so baby has been out on the town A LOT these last few weeks so there are like a million photos in this one.... brace yourself. Also there are a TON of  "firsts" so..... its a good one.

He is now almost 17 pounds. holy cow my shoulders can totally tell.

 if he's not jumping.... he's eating or pooping. Jumping is his LIFE. 

Here he is looking like a GQ raccoon hat model. Work it baby.

 He is picking up on crawling and sitting. He's got rolling down to a science. As I am currently typing this I am watching him roll across the living room floor. It is his primary form of locomotion. I keep having to stop, pick him up and reset him on the far end of the room, like a little human type writer.

Dylan Graduated high school this may, which makes me feel both very old and very proud.  Baby had a blast for his graduation barbecue. He is such a ham for attention, and boy did he ever get it at the party. Lincoln was wrestled over for who got to hold him pretty much the entire time.

His first jump on the trampoline.... christs pajamas, he loved it, and he slept sooooooooo good  that night.

ok, to be fair, he was asleep and disinterested for the first half hour....
but then we got to the elephants and he got SO excited.
the baby elephant was right up next to the fence.

He really got into it after that, posing with the big water elephant.

He even got a new little red zoo hat.

and Chris got one too in the chinese village area

 Baby finally got to go swimming..... he loved it.

 He really is so close to getting it.

We went up to donut falls. I cant express how much he loved it. he was cooing and laughing and kicking excitedly the entire time, when he'd see something new (like the river) he'd stop and look at it thoughtfully, soaking it all in. we  would hear the silence and pause to let him really enjoy it.

Oh and before I forget, since he just turned 7 months and I forgot to do it at 6 months..... Bunny comparison. Remember that when he was born he was smaller than the bunny......

 He could probably hold his newborn self, now.

Its crazy how fast he's growing.

 Time to eat!   Lincoln eats a huge variety of foods now. today was oatmeal (with cinnamon and nutmeg of COURSE)  and some honeydew (new today). he liked them both so much they got EVERYWHERE due to his enthusiasm. Just like mom and Rue, he shakes his tail when he eats yummy food.

Eureka! Ive just thought of the cure for cancer!..... hmmm too bad I cant talk.

 Baby went to the Festival of Roses at St. John.

He REALLY liked all the commotion. Rides going, people bustling about, yummy food smells.

 He stands a LOT. so much so that he can stand all by himself for a good 10 seconds before he gets too excited and tries to walk and falls down.

WHAT??? you dont think I can do it? 

I can!

 Lincoln was  model for a local artists handmade baby clothes website. He was prettttty adorable.

 This was like 2 months ago but I couldn't find the disk they were on.

He's 6 months old on tuesday.

We went to the aquarium this week.

 he actually really liked it.

 Baby loves Trevor.

He loves waking his papi up in the morning.

He can hold himself up to gaze out the window now.

 He rolled himself up in his play mat.... weirdo

He is just being such a happy good boy. He eats his food really well, hardly any mess any more.
He rolled over from his back to his tummy and he's really working on crawling.

We'll see what next week brings.
