August 20th - 40 weeks old

He's getting so big.
Here is his growth chart from his 9 month visit. he's average (50th percentile) for height and  just under average (25th percentile) for weight.

  "It's pretty cool I guess"

This is what happens when dad gets to feed him mashed potatoes.

WE ARE THE BORG!

 RESISTANCE IS FUTILE

He out grew his bassinet.
He has figured out how to take off his diaper and
We also learned that he can pull himself up.... the combination was terrifying.

He thinks its funny when Im scared.

WAY funny.

Here he is with his uncles.

He got into a grocery bag......

so we put him in time-out.

 He's so patient with us.
hahaha.

Just like Chris, he sleeps with his butt up in the air.

Sweet Baby Rue

We went up to Tibble Fork Reservoir ..... he liked it.

It was REALLY pretty up there.

 Rue had a blast.

His new thing is taking off his clothes and hanging out underneath the kitchen table.
I cant figure out why aside from maybe he likes the cool tile? but he knows he's not supposed to be all buck naked all the time..... so... BUSTED

weirdo.

Thats all !

9 months old!!

We went to Grove's deli.... baby liked it

the child is an escape artist.

but his escapes don't always go as planned.

always so serious when he eats.

We went to the harley davidson store in park city, rue did not like her new hat.

we went to a kids bookstore and baby didnt approve of the selection

Chris bought me a giant butterfly for my birthday. this is the size of an outstretched hand.

Did you know it was possible to get a wedgie with a  diaper?   ...... I didnt.

I do now.

Baby is constantly trying to dine with the dogs.

SO......one day Chris thought it would be funny to make monster growling noises and bare his teeth at Lincoln. but then baby wouldnt stop being scared of Chris.

There were hawks playing in the sprinklers this weekend. very strange.

Here he is this morning, sleeping in his tent, which is the only way to get him to nap. he must have blankets over his face, but I cant relax when he does. I always think hes going to suffocate, so this is how we compromise
